I thought you had a 4wd, guess not..lol You gonna get rid of that chevy lean?
having fun removing those leaf spring bushings?

nope, boring 2wd lol

well I just finished with all the ball joints, I'm going to take the control arms somewhere for those new bushings. I don't have a press yet so that will be going on the tool list.

once the front end is done I'll move to the rear.

install hangers and see if the leaf spring bushings are going to give me grief too.

also get my new bed sent off for paint and get that on

I'll check my new measurements when I get everything is installed and see if the lean is still bad

Took the A arms to a shop to have the old bushing pressed out and new ones put in and I got them back today.

then I started putting the truck back together after work, I got all the new balljoints in and the passenger side completely finished up.

when the suspension is fully loaded the lower a arm Is riding on the bump stop, so I'll either remove it, trim it or buy new ones for a lowered truck

oh and just a side note, don't drop the coil spring on your head, it hurts......bad

I thought these trucks are designed to ride right above the bumpstop, but maybe that's just us torsion bar guys im thinking of...?

im saying us torsion bar guys, were supposed to be near or on the bumpstop... not sure if that's the same for 2wd coil spring trucks or not.

my 2wd coil spring truck rides just above the bump stop with a 2" drop spring FWIW.
