Sweet build. Exactly what im doing except with forged internals. But now u got me thinking of just replacement pistons since mine will also be a daily that sees 500 miles a week and carries crap on the bed regularly.

Heres a few pics from the build and a installed pic.
Put about 200 miles on it so far runs strong.
Got a lil tune done pulls strong till 6700 maxxing out my regular 8.1 31# injectors. At 6700rpm they are running at 108% duty cycle. Will swap in some 36 flex fuels soon.

Only made one pull to get a half way decent tune on it but its a beast.

Most say a 224r is to small of a cam for a 370 but it works perfect with my 390 gears and 3200 stall.Doesnt lack power or torque at any rpm!

I have a set of flex fuels sitting in my 90mm intake setup.
I want to get it broke in before I start swapping the intake.

Im surprised those injectors are only at 108% duty cycle. So I think the 36 lbers should be okay, but they may be over 80% IDC. When I was N/A at sea level with the 44 lb marines I was seeing 70% IDC (only 55% at 3000 ft above sea level lol)

Have any plans on a dyno run, especially one that will show low end torque?

I want to put something like this together but it's hard to decide when all the dyno sheets start at 3k+rpm and I'm wanting a motor that will pull strong right off idle, with no desire to pull over 6k. Also want to stick to around a 2k stall since I will already have heavy tires and it will see a fair bit of time towing and puttering around the mountains.

truck sounds good, makes me want to rip off my **** and get a real exhaust in my yukon.

I plan to dyno it once it has some miles on it.
It pulls really good at part throttle down low.
Powers there no waiting for it to come on

Hit the rollers the other day made 395hp and 403tq.
Full exhaust and stock 78mm truck intake.
