Default 2wd 2001 reg cab silverado v6 to 6.0 conversion build

Well me and my brother have been working on his truck for some time and what was gonna be a simple v6 to v8 swap turned into something completely different.....now we have made this truck an awd 6.0 stalled auto truck....here are the mods so far:

Enging:
lq4 with ls2 flat tops so now lq9
double roller timing set
arp fasteners
tsp cnc'd l92 heads
tsp 231/236 cam
offset rockers for l92 heads
ls3 fast intake
arh 1 7/8 headers stainless
ls7 lifters
2001 silverado wiring harness and computer

Drivetrain:
2004 ss silverado front suspension
ss silverado transfer case
4l65e transmission
ss silverado front axle 4:10 ratio
yank pt 4000
tranny cooler
derail cooling deep transmission pan
2001 silverado 1500 hd 14 bolt
TA racing 14 bolt aluminum cover with stud girdle

started with a 2wd but found the entires ss awd system for a low price......we were able to find a 4wd reg cab frame and swaped everything over

Yeah was quite a bit of work but we are hoping to get it cranked up this weekend just recieved our HP tuners so we can start the tuning process......will post up better pics then

Tell us more about your 14 bolt conversion???

What did you do for rear brakes???

Did you use 88-98 4x4 6 lug Rear axles???

You not to sure if it was 2001 but thats what the guy who sold it to us said it was.......we used the original disk brakes from the truck. We had to grind and reweld the brake mounting plate flanges and move them closer to the edge of the axle tubes because this was a drum setup before. The overall width of the rear end was actually 3"s shorter but still fit on the leaf springs we will have to order deep dish wheels to fit appropriately on the truck but thats the look he was going for anyways

Oh when I popped the rear end cover.....I made sure it was a semi-floating 14 bolt...4:10 ratio and is limited slip...the rear end was complete with the six lug axles

Some one put the axles in for you then. The 2500 Light duty with the 14 bolt 9.5 SF was 8 lug.

I have done the swap before. I just thought it would be cool to see how you guys did it along with the rest of your build.

I like the fact that your doing the 4x4 frame with AWD swap!!! Chevy should have offer that.
