cool, I'll check out some of his vids

Right now the design is for a forward firing slotted port:

1.25 cuft after subwoofer and bracing, 33" wide, 8.75" deep, 15" tall, tuned to 24hertz wired 1ohm @ 800wrms.

Using a combination of 3/4" poplar(for added strength/I used this assembling cabinets last year and love the way the screws really bite into it) and 3/4" MDF; using Spax cabinets screws and a combination of wood glue and liquid nails to seal it all up. Then going to to smooth it all out with body filler and paint it.

Damn 24 hz? Lol I had a blazer with 4 zv.4 12s tuned to 26. It would play the lows very well.

I would suggest at least looking into side firing with a 3-4in aeroport.

thanks man!

Well the box is just about done. Final specs are:

25" wide, 15" tall, 9.5" deep slot port tuned to 32 hertz.

so after more research I think I'm going to go ahead and try a factory integration after all.
It appears all line out sources are partial signal (could be wrong)

What I think I'm up against:

1. front door speakers/bass frequencies (approx 20 to 1k hertz)
2. rear cab speakers/mid-range/high frequencies (50-20k hertz)
3. dash speakers/also mid-range/high frequencies (unknown)

Potential solution:

1. Pull the subwoofer frequencies from the door speaker line outs to LC2i to Mono amp to subwoofer

2. Pull midrange/high frequencies from rear cab speakers line outs directly to 2 channels of 4 channel amp to components.

Once hooked up go ahead and crank it up, if all sounds clean, call it good. If not, I'll start troubleshooting from there.

anyone know where I can get a good wiring diagram?
