Personally, I would just go the LS2 route. I have Never hear of a failed one when installed properly.
Ive heard of failed chains in both, but usually stock chains being revved higher than theyre meant to be.. which this truck will never see..... Was thinking ls2 route just to eliminate the leaf spring deal, just need pn for the chain for it.... Already planning on 4x 3bolt gear anyway...

Please show me were the failed. I have never seen one fail that wasn't related to some other issue.
GM#12646386 Is supposed to be the heavy duty chain.
Still not completely sold on the chrome door handles, seriously considering having the black ones repainted or finding a set of the textured black plastic handles.... But these were free....
Yes i know she needs a bath, been raining for past week and a half so havent had chance to wash it...
The longer the exhaust is on there the louder it gets, still not obnoxious and very little drone....
My radio surround and vent surrounds are brushed all the door switches and between the vents are wood,(post 12) part of me wants to get the wood radio bezel part of me wants the black and silver look.... Decisions, decisions.....
Just let me know which way you wanna go. All my trim was the wood, but I plasti-dipped them all flat black, which looks badass with the black interior! So that's something to think about as well

Not saying wasnt another issue, but have seen it usually along with other damage that the customer finally admitted to redlining or beyond multiple times... Usually on stock engines....
