Gotta get a spot cleared out for it. Should have one in the next week or so.

Hard part for me is deciding if I should put it all in stock for now or go ahead with the cam swap,shift kit and TQ convertor. It would be easier now but I'm not sure if I want to dump that much cash at it yet.

I believe I'm going to get the truck running with the 6L and 4l60 for right now. Can I just swap the flex plate from the 5.3 to the 6L and be ok or is there something else that needs done?

Yes you can swap the flex plate.
