I cant wait to see more updates on this!
the oil pan is a LH8 5.3L hummer H3 oil pan. it fits in without notching anything but it hangs down about .5" below the crossmember.

I picked up the optima, new stainless exhaust clamps, and the bedrug tonight.

Should have a bunch of updates tomorrow as I pick up the headers around lunch time. I will be driving the truck mid day Saturday!

Yes I had it shortened a small bit... If I remember right it was about an 1inch or so.

Got the headers back on after the coating. Also mounted the new battery box. Now I'm just waiting for my 1/0 cable which I will have tomorrow.

I must say it is the best lookin V-8 S-10 I have ever seen.
How much do you want to bet that by the end of the month you will be doing a cam swap? I know the wife is gonna want it for sure now! At least you will have a few weeks for your knuckles to heal and the cuts to scab over! lol.
Good Job Danny!

In due time... Still deciding on the whole camshaft deal... Remember I have another truck to build now so gotta really look a the bigger picture and see where I want to spend my time and the pennies I save.
