I always wear safety glasses, when I grind and a welding mask when I weld, along with gloves, trust me I am ALL set with metal in the eyes.

I may have missed something but how are you going to mount the bed??? Glad to see your back at it... Whats your prognossis for your injury???

I didn't get rid of the bed mounts so the same way it was before...

Ok but doesn't the rear portion of the bed sit on the frame... And if you moved all the body mounts down for a Boby drop, how will you align the bed??? Thats what I was trying to figure out...

Oh I understand what you're asking now well the actual bed floor gets raised 2", which in turn lowers the bed sides to match, but since I have that notch I'm actually raising it even more to go right over the notch. So it'll appear to be a stock bed floor just not as deep

Ah Ha... Ya I wasn't sure what you were going to do there... some guys make custom floors and others just leave it kinda open... Just didn't want to see you go through all the trouble and then crap out on the last part... I hate seeing guys do that out here... they spend a ton of money to get the work done and the bed usually ends up being the crappy part...
