Yeah, the stock trans was a pos. the throw on the shifter was retarded. When he did the t56 it helped a lot. He could bang gears like a ****.

As for wheels, pretty sure whenever I get tired of the stock look, I want some sawblade vette wheels.

My coils were dropped off as we were getting ready to leave, so just have to mount them and I'll have 90% of the truck wired up. With the new flex fuel pump in, I should be good on the test start when ever my PCM comes in.

I'm ready just to hear it crank, after spending all this money and time on it.

Well about to head to pullapart for throttle cable and cruise control cable. Just found out that the 2.2L cables don't work, lol. We didn't even think about that. On to the progress

After I get my cables today, the only thing Im waiting on is a foot of hose to finish my fuel system, lol. Probably be two weeks before anymore updates, since my friends are going on vacation and I won't be able to get into the shop. When they get back, I should be putting in the new diff, rear brakes, new tires, and then taking it to my other buddy's shop for an alignment and then to the exhaust shop.

Did even better than expected. Got my 4.3 throttle cable, cruise control cable, cruise control module, and new steering column covers made for a floor shifter.
