Updates! Made it to FL to see my truck i bought. And cuss and fix

 

 

Welp got the truck back to texas. Move into my shop in the beginning of feb
Then hopefully get busy on some projects.

How hard is it to convert this 2000 truck to run onto a 2004 pcm? I have the wiring harness pcm and gas pedal. think the only thing missing is the tac module.

I decided going to just put a 4.8 in it put the 799 or 243 heads, ls6 cam, and single turbo

 

Looks like a cool project man, will be following this one for sure.

 

thanks got an air bag for it and put the drop shackles in not much to report at the moment.

 

From what Ive read. 243 and 799 are the same. But 799s were cast in Mexico, as 243s in America.

Not to sound like a douchenoob, but why don't people run the 317's for the lower comp?
