It’s coming along nicely. Need to measure for the driveshaft and get that ordered. Stereo is also coming along nicely. Just need to run a couple more wires and bolt down the sub box. Fired it up the other day and it sounds great.

Oh, I fixed my signature for you @arthursc2

That’s the plan. The more I look at it the less I want to do a full blown restore and just leave it kinda knarly and enjoy it. Replace some of the major rust spots and just enjoy the “patina.” Plus if I get a wild hair up my *** to go crawling I won’t feel bad hahaha.

Stereo is done. Just need to make some custom straps for the sub box. Sounds really nice for a budget stereo. Also got the disconnect on the winch done. Need to shorten up the leads to the battery and that’ll be done.

And it wouldn’t be the Shiti Chevy if I didn’t have to go and fix something from the previous owner.

Lmao!! That’s the linkage for the transmission shifter. I can understand the washers spacing it down for the body lift but the quadruple stacked nuts on top? Wtf.

Maybe the PO was a squirrel and was just storing some nuts for winter?

LMAO I almost didn't notice the washers at first. Too busy questioning the nuts.

I probably just cost myself 30hp taking those off. But think of the weight savings haha.
