I went ahead and decided to tear apart the harness instead of "halfass" it. All the pins were pulled from the 80pin connectors and I'm back wiring from each plug and will repin the wires at the PCM to get that made to fit finish I want. Here are a couple of pictures. I have just been messing with it at night along with tearing apart my 60e core. I pick up all my parts tomorrow to finish the transmission and I have to send the converter to TCS to have it restalled.

This is my buddy Perry's '32, running a LS1 and a low mount alternator. It was difficult to get done, but I can't remember what it took. I can try to get more info if you'd like, otherwise I'll leave you alone about it.

In the end he will have one cool *** ride for sure!
He got lucky. $500 got him 1 assembled flathead, one spare block, one spare head, a new set of pistons, and 2 transmissions. The assembled motor had a valve that didn't want to drop back down, but he finally got it worked loose and was able to disassembled the motor. We believe that the heads may have been milled at one point too, and the block has been bored .020 over pretty recently.

If you would like thats fine, but I can tell you with the different front suspension and cars have a easier time because the engine sits back farther. My bet is either a high dollar front accessory drive or he is running the f body stuff.

Not a lot. I have run into a space issue. I need to sell my S-10 and free up some room to pull the cab and bed to get cracking on te rest of the stuff I need to do.

Back from the grave...

I revisted the alternator and said the hell with it and made a mock up and after a sort time I milled this.... Should work much better.

I also scored a set of Abear Valve covers that should be here next week.

Next I'm bending up stainless hardline to run the steam vent into the waterpump. After that is done I should be able to get the wiring done.....I hope.

Nope... in fact its about 10 grand away from driving and a ton of time... All the stuff I'm doing is just mock up. I still have a ton to go.
