Just doing dirty work...
Made a stand to transport the engine to the shop to get the A/C Bracket and lower idler bracket made.

Then just a bunch of welding filling in un-needed holes in the frame

Also started working on the dash. Had to fill in a few holes and tomorrow I will be grinding the welds and cut the large oval and A/C vent holes.

Got the holes ground down and the new A/C Vent holes cut and the hole cut for the VHX gauges
Billet Specialties A/C Vents

Center hole cut

Dash fit into the cab..... Yes I know the damn tahoe is dirty!

Should be slinging filler on it tomorrow and have it in primer on Monday

Get the bracket all bolted back up and started on the rear bracket.

Rear bracket from start to finish

Got the Dash, front panhard bar, and drag link sealed, primed, and painted

Engine back in the Chassis

Also got the harness and pigtails back from BP-Automotive. He installed the PCM Pins and pinned the PCM connectors for me.

what do you do for a living that gives you so much time to wrench on the project? atleast it seems like a lot of time invested in a short period of time. maybe i'm just slow haha. great work BTW.

The fun is about to really start as I'm ordering parts tonight and bringing the truck out to the shop in a week or 2. Will be building the following
Headers, exhaust, fuel tank, radiator, and mounting the master cylinder. I actually have more done than what this thread shows I just upload updates every so often.
Once that is done it is being pulled all the way apart and the frame is getting a fresh paint job, which I will also be doing.

I work for a hot rod shop... So pretty easy to take a small bit of time out of the day to get my own stuff done. The rear bracket took about an hour to build total. The paint stuff was done over the weekend.
