Default 09 avalanche daily documentation thread

Just thought cause im bored and id like to document my trucks progress.

heres what i started out with, an 09 avalanche, 5.3 6l80e truck 2wd with 62k miles on it when i got it a year ago. Grandpa style truck

First thing first, pulled the bug deflector off and got some 20" centerlines from my boss.

badges had to go

done

black emblem

up next was the tailgate

tailgate done, unfortunately this is the first gm truck that i have encountered that has holes behind the emblem

previous owner had some cheap led driving lights that were burnt out so i replaced them with the sylvania LEDS

Random towing, 6l80e feels way better towing then a 4l60e

off to the exhaust shop

had a Pypes race pro muffler installed and all 3 cats removed

had a diesel exhaust down turn tip given to me, wasnt too sure how it would look, but i like how it came out

hoover dam

LED bed light cause the factory one went out

had a little trouble at the tire shop and they messed up the centerlines by leaving the lug nuts loose and they gave me these to roll around on till replacement wheels showed up

new wheels came in. 22" gmc replicas on a 305/40 r22 nitto 420s

time for a little brake upgrade. powerstop kit all around

trans temps were always close to 200 degrees being in arizona and crusing on the freeway i wanted to do something to help out

full set of AN fittings to do braided steel lines

this pricey little piece for the 6l80e to run -6 an fittings

front clip removed for access

cooler mounted up

nicely tucked behind the grill, and the emblem needs touched up lol

ive put 2 motor mounts in it at this time now

trying a poly trans mount to see if that'll help with motor mounts breaking
