How do you like the 80e/4.11 gears at highway speed like 70+mph?

I had 4.11 on my 60e truck and there was too much rpm on the freeway, so I'm leaning towards 3.90 this time with my 80e

The 60e has a deeper OD gear, 0.70 compared to 0.75 for the 80e.

So what does that equate to, more or less RPM between the 60e and 80e at highway speed

With the same size tires and rear gears, the 80e will have a higher rpm.

4.10s arent bad on the highway. I thought they would help more than they did down low but not that huge of a difference it seems. Coming from a 3.23 to this.

Is it possible you are feeling some sort of torque management thats pulling timing off the line? The 4.10's should have been a big jump from 3.23 gears.

Then I definitely need either 3.90 or 3.73 in there. I was not happy with the RPM of the truck with the 60e and 4.11s. I do a lot of highway driving and sometimes the tollway that has an 80mph speed limit

It's like 3krpm at 80mph on a 295/65.
