thanks guys, yeah its great out here, hardly ever any rust in the native Arizonan vehicles. this one was a survey truck for new housing developments and spent most of the time in dirt and only rust was the small spot in the passenger side floor board which was probably from a popped heater core considering it had been bypassed when i picked the truck up originally

not much progress this weekend, but got the ac box rebuilt. id say the evaporator was clogged



factory sound deadoner piece cleaned up the past it could be and ac box bolted back up with new heater core, all 4 new actuators, and evaporator. this stuff is so stained from dirt it will not clean up.



got one of the extended cab door panels cleaned up, installed a new speaker and ran new speaker wires ran to them

add a leaf for the rear suspension



finished up coating the rear section of the frame



rear lift blocks installed and suspension bolted together so itll still roll out for the other paint work



bed painted tailgate painted

main support for the dash installed



starting to wire in the power door locks and windows



fully wired and tested with an external power supply. wires all out of the way of the window and new speaker installed in the door



dont think the aftermarket switches look too bad.



bed fully sanded, and sprayed in primer before getting bedlined



bed fully lined.



tailgate lined

dropped the engine off at the machine shop, checked out good, crank is getting a very light .010 grind, and getting bored to ls1 specs, should have it back very shortly. its getting some 243's flat top pistions and a very small trick flow cam

Wow, you don't see many frame off restorations on ten year old trucks. This is cool. Great work so far.

it was called buckshot bedliner, something a local paint supply store recommended

Work looks good! I like the color!

For the doors, would it be easier to get power doors, or does this harness not have plugs for switches? Asking completely out of curiosity, obviously too late for this project.
