Dang man! That sucks but build, race, break repeat I guess. The guy who bought my white s10 broke a rod a few days after I sold it to him. Put a big hole in the oil pan from it too. No idea what happened it was a pretty conservative tune, no knock count and deep 11 afrs. Also sold both my trucks and picked this up a few days ago.
Oil pressure suddenly dropped to 10psi while cruising and started making noise think the oil pump was just worn out as the O ring looked great. Crank is toast but rods pistons and block are okay getting rebuilt now.
Well dang that Vette is a little nicer than either S10 lol! C6s are the best.
I’m super happy with it. Had a 02 C5 z06 before and I really hated that car, pretty sure it was built on a Friday or wrecked hard at one point because the body gaps were all over the place the c6 is much more refined and totally daily driveable. Nicest car I’ve had in like 7 years.
Na this ones a keeper. I originally planned on selling the white truck when I was building it. Made a decent profit off it and had fun with the project. Gonna leave the vette mostly stock for the time being and mod it down the road.
No I’m definitely gonna tune it. I need to throw it on the dyno first to get a baseline then I’ll tune it stock and see the difference. And it’s ls2/ 6l80e 6 speed auto. Really happy about going with the auto trans to be honest.

good deal, dude! and maybe you did have a rotten apple C5... i've DDed my C5 plenty of times for a few weeks, and it was great.
...granted the current clutch & cam make that a lot less friendly, but the suspension has felt good with my minor mods.
