Sure is a pretty truck! One day I will move to a full size RCSB with boost, for now, I still dig my mini, and will like it more when it also whistles, hopefully soon.

Those racestars were 17x9.5 in the rear with M&H 390/40r17s iirc. Front racestars were 17x7.

Already showed this off in the Drag Racing section, but after much delay (over a year) the truck finally ran a new personal best. I think its got 11.1x's in her as she sits, and then I'll increase the boost to 16psi. After that its a sxe369 and 20psi.

This run was 13psi, 20gph M1 meth, ~10.8AFR, 18.5 degrees of timing.

Got to the track again on Sunday. I think the DA was probably a little better and a new PB was the result. This was the first run, after which I started making adjustments to the rear suspension and my 60ft went to hell. If I could've managed at 1.63 like 2 weeks ago it would've been pretty close to an 11.0.

Any changes other than the weather? 4.62mph increase on the big end is pretty significant.

Well, the DA was not in fact any better than 2 weeks prior. I was pretty surprised about the improvement being on the essentially the same tune. From what I can tell, these are the factors that may have affected the time (not sure if good or bad).

1) I had my cut out open on the 11.11sec pass, not the 11.23 pass.
2) Traction bar front height was approx. 3/4in higher on the 11.11sec pass than the 11.23sec pass. Still had issues with hooking, but may have hooked sooner on the 11.11sec pass.
3) The 11.11sec pass was on 19.5 degrees timing, the 11.23sec pass was on 18.5 degrees.
4) Couldn't really pay attention to the wideband going down the track, but logging it appeared to indicate that it was running leaner in the mid range (after shifts). This trend, coupled with the fact that I got .5* KR logged on my second run of the day leads me to believe that maybe there's something weird going on with the meth kit. I plan on cleaning out the methanol nozzles, and might as well change fuel filters while I'm at it. More street tuning and experimenting to do too, when I can actually keep an eye on the wideband.

That 1 degree of timing and open dump made a huge difference. I'd be a little cautious on that timing.

Really makes me wonder what I could have achieved running at the track with a little more timing (14.5 deg), open dump instead of full exhaust, and locked converter.

Seeing this turbo truck threads gets my blood bubbling
