No disrespect, but I think its funny you used plastic zip ties to hold on the heat shielding for the AC lines. Im surprised to not see stainless or something like that.

I've spent hours trying to get that piece of **** off an extra set of covers I have. Thinking back, I don't think I ever got it off.

That was me last year when putting the engine together! I needed it so I took it easy. This time I knew I didn't have to use it again so I had less fear.

Yeah, got the zip tie idea from a few friends that have used them even closer to the heat source. I am going to switch them out for grey though, for you know, looks. Lol.

Honestly I am surprised they hold up to heat being that close. But they are pretty thick.

Haha, the 4" has been easy so far to get where I'm at. I haven't been able to get pat the frame yet only because I am still waiting for the V bands. The first ones I got on ebay were the worst things I've ever seen. Varying OD on the flanges and different thicknesses even. Couldn't even get the nut started on the clamp because they fit so bad. So I sent those back for a refund and ordered from another place, then they sent me T bolt clamps instead. A stupid headache. Since it's the weekend right now, I'm still waiting for them to get back to me to fix that.

I am also waiting for another company to get back to me on a wrong part they sent me. I ordered a vacuum manifold block and I got a manual boost controller instead, which I already have.

I ordered all the cold side pipe yesterday, I have an electronic fuel pressure gauge and mech boost gauge on the way, and air filter.

Recent truck updates are: 3 bar MAP sensor installed, wired the IAT sensor, exhaust that is done is welded, wastegate is done, I switched spark plugs to NGK BR7EF.

I removed the coolant tank and trimmed a mounting leg for the turbo pipeing.
