Well wouldn't consider it a day off I worked last night till 730 this morning and have to go back tomorrow in the am.... anyways still managed to get some work done today. Put the inner fenders in, got the steering shaft and joint in, hood is on, and I got some of the wiring back in the truck. Hood has about ½ to 3/4 inch of clearance from the intake so fits perfect. The steering shaft went in no issue at all but because the steering shaft coming through the firewall isn't solid mounted Ill have to put a support near the joint so it doesn't bind. Not an issue at all. Overall VERY happy with how its turning out...

Work looks great man. One thing I noticed that you may want to revisit is the alternator pulley. When you bought that alternator did they know what the diameter was of the crank pulley? That appears to be the larger of the ATI balancers and that is a very small alternator pulley. That alternator is going to be somewhere in the stratosphere at shift points.
If the manufacturer is cool with that much alt rpm..........you're good to go. I don't know what size that pulley is, but it would not be out of the realm of reality to see alt rpm over 25,000. Which typically isn't a good thing.

Didn't really think about that. My ATI is a standard truck size pulley so it's pretty big, I have a stock size alternator pulley so just to be on the safe side I'll put that one on instead of the little one that came with the alternator.

looks damn good man can't wait to hear it fire up
