for cheap you could straight pipe the exhaust and make your own cai...they really make a difference in diesel trucks. a simple 100hp chip is seriously like night and day. just my .02

On my friends 99' 250 we installed a SCT excaliber2.. and it was pretty nice, Im trying to download the software so i can get free updates and stuff. Last night I ordered a 4" exhaust and EGT gauge. After those you can get an intake, map fooler, remove and wastegate line, and many other easy for free mods that i dunno too much about.

If you Chip it it'd be a wise idea to do the exhaust to... Personally i like the sound of the 5" straight pipe.. it don't have as much of a fart sound to it as a 4 or smaller.

you can also put a resister in the ICP sensor to trick the high pressure oil pump(hpop)and it gives a little but more power but it also will make the truck lope at an idle...it takes about 45 sec. to do it and costs about 99cents...def. worth it for the money!

i had a 97 psd and did a drop in k&n, straight pipe, dppi down pipe, and a bullydog power pup and had great results on the 75hp setting. the truck had 235000 miles when i sold it and no problems at all.
