Default 6.0 powerstroke question

my friend has an 2005 ford f350 fx4 king ranch and hes wanting to get more proformance outta it, whats some of the best stuff out there and whats some of the best intakes and etc...

Banks is proably some of the best stuff for fords.

The new Edge Juice Platinum is the way to go for 05 6.0L Powerstrokes- it has up 100 hp and 240 lb/ft gains, tranny control (auto's only), turbo timer, removes speed limiter, reads DTCs, and has EGT and boost control..

Its more closer to flywheel hp.. Probably about 60 hp at the wheels- but definately noticeable gains

MBRP 4" turbo back exhaust and AFE intake system.. Those two will probably give you a 20% increase in a performance Box's power output..

thats what i was thinking. at one time banks was claiming that their hp gains was to the wheels. its something to look into.

AFE makes a good intake along with a few others. i would go with a complete 4" exhaust any thing larger is over kill

leave it stock it will blow up, my roomates just did, all he had was programmer and exhaust, the dipstick was welded to the block.
