Default Zex window switch

Ok I spent the day installing my Zex kit on my Tundra and when I got to the window switch I can not figure out how to program it, I didnt go through alot of different settings but the way I thought it should be set didnt work. Anyone have any experience with these window switches? http://www.zex.com/Base/Instructions/ZEX169.pdf Here is a pdf of the instructions I cant get step 1 figured out for the tach signal.

You have to find out which wire is your tach signal. For me it was a white wire behind the gauge cluster. Being that you have a tundra I have no idea what it would be. Aside from finding a wiring schematic, I'm not sure how else you could test for a tach signal.

What do you mean. I have mine set to 3000 rpm activate and 6200 deactivate. The zex window switch may be different, but it was not hard at all to do my MSD window switch.

Those directions are kind of a cluster ****. lol

I dont know if you are supposed to have the numbers at 00 because you are only getting signal from one coil or if you are supposed to be at 08 for 8 cylinders.

0 0 = individual coil per cylinder systems where the TACH wire is connected to the coil
0 1 = coil packs that fire in pairs (waste spark systems) and the TACH wire is connected to the coil
0 2 ~ 1 2 = number of engine cylinders, from 2 to 12, where the TACH wire is connected to the tach
from the engine electronic controller or distributor

Sounds like you need to set it to 00, because its an individual coil per cylinder.

00 if you are on 1 coil per cylinder. And you are connected at the coil...
