i guess it is just like everything else opinion very cause the 2 trans shops i work for say to spray it through shifts.
on the other side why wouldn't u want to so if u spray a 100 shot and spray it through shifts r if u build a 402 and it is a 100 hp more than u had before r u going to let off for it to shift.

i have hit the limiter with spray and my intake is still planted..... i'd rather spray through the shifts than have the spray hit my tranny several times in one run.
not argueing one way is better than another cause we will all blow up trannies.
another note, whats the difference in building a 500 hp motor vs having a 400hp motor then adding a hundred shot. if a tranny can take 500hp through the shifts n/a shouldn't it be able to do it on spray? the initial shock is gonna hurt it the most imo.
also, lets talk about supercharged motors. they produce wicked torque down low. isn't that a hard jolt to the tranny? why is nitrous different?
window switch or not, just spray the bastard and go faster.

im running 7 psi from my radix w. 3.73's on ~35's. I've launched in 4wd a few times, launched in 4lo 3 times (i get bored sometimes), i've raced and towed a 24ft boat up and down hill for a total of probably 400 miles. The trans has 70,000 on it now and still holds up w/ no TM and higher line pressure. i would not be suprised if it blew soon. But it is magically holding on.

Thanks for everyone's advice. I took off about 7/10th's from my previous best. It's jetted too rich, and I didn't have traction, but it was fun! I started not spraying through the shifts, then I tried the rest through them. Didn't slip one bit. And netted better times. So I was mistaken! Thanks again...heres the slips...
