couldnt agree more, i knew in the beginning i was wanting an all out NA motor ( ok one that ran good ) i knew the fast could deliver what i needed, the vic jr couldnt, well not as quick as i wanted it, if i knew i would end up spraying more than 200 shot ( well one day i will ) id went vic jr. its never out the question to change but as of now the FAST will do and in hopes of taking some serious punishment!

Still running nitrous on mine as well, went 11.5 @ 116 on a 100 shot throw just a nozzle kit, doing an 80e swap now and plan on a vic jr swap with a plate and spray a 200 shot and put it on e85. Ill get them tens yet..

Spraying nitrous now and going turbo with nitrous in the future.Best on 150 shot has been a 6.8x 1/8th mile time at 99.98 mph. I personally am tired of filling up nitrous bottles and getting 2 good passes and one medicore pass out of it. I do not run my bottles dry. I prefer constant pressure and always change them out. I have 5 nitrous bottles that I get filled regularly. I just rather use less nitrous in the future. I race typically 2 days every weekend and as you can see the cost of nitrous is expensive. I use almost 3 bottles of nitrous at each track outing. first pass is motor and the rest is nitrous. I am just saying I think nitrous is great, I love the way it hits and the way it can surprise some people. I have always had some vehicle with nitrous on it. I can not ween myself away from it. Just use less

Any type of modding of a vehicle gets expensive. It's what we do and what we love.

I've got alot of reading and learning to do but I'm planning on nitrous. Shooting for 11:1 CR, 150-200ish shot and E85. Need to research intakes some more, but I really like the looks and some of the scuttlebutt I've seen on the pro flo xt.

Does anyone know if a stock botttom end 4.8/5.3 has been in the 10's on bottle alone? I know there is a turbo 4.8 that has been 10.8 now. I may take a shot at it soon. I was able to go 11.6@116 with the stock converter and an LS6 cam. I'm now running a custom grind cam and a 3200 converter. I have also done alittle weight reduction since then. No times for the build yet though.
