Default Where do you mount your bottle?

Hey guys first time posting here! Iv been looking at getting a NX Proton Plus kit for my silverado(04 2500HD) but my biggest concern is where should I mount my bottle?? Its an Ext. cab but iv got a sub box under my seat. Where do most of you guys mount your bottles? And while im at it, Proton kit pretty good for my chevy? Thanks!

A lot of guys mount them in the bed. Where ever you mount it, you just need to make sure the bottle valve is pointed towards the front of the truck. Don't mount it sideways

At like a 45 Right? And do I have to worry about the rapidly changing temperatures if its in the bed?

Your kit should come with do's and donts as far as positions for mounting the bottle, but the best way will be like oakley said. I have mine under the back seat at a 45* angle to the right from the front of the truck and with-in easy reach from the drivers seat. If you mount it in the bed, come up with some slick way to hide/disguise/protect it or it could mean trouble from law enforcement if you get stopped and its in plain site.
Also, a bottle heater and a bottle blanket will be a good and cheaper investment for keeping your pressures up compared to something like a NANO type system(although they are nice).

I mounted mine in the corn of the bed closest to the cab of the truck. I only lhad my bottle in when I was planning on using it. I didn't want to drill holes in the floor inside the truck. or I would have had it inside. yes heat will effect the nitrous. if its really hot out it can release all the pressure through the blow down tube. I have seen the back of cars blowin off from leaving it inside the car on a hot day. http://blog.brothersperformance.com/...a-hard-lesson/
