Default when is the bottle empty??

I have a 10lb. bottle and when I first got it, the bottle was showing 800 on the gauge, I did 3 full 1/4 runs, and about one test run on the street the day I installed it... now the bottle is showing 750 on the gauge??? I think I have read that a 10lb bottle is good for about 4-5 1/4 runs???? its seems like it still has some but I am not sure?? how do you read the gauge on it??

thanks...

You won't know how much is left in the bottle by looking at the pressure gauge; you'll have to physically weigh the bottle to see how much you have left. Or you could run our Mark controller and it will tell ya how much you have left.

Also keep in mind. That if there is only 2 or 3 lbs left its to low.

AP when you hit the spray and its pulling good then it just seems to get weaker and weaker then you know the bottle is emtpy.

Yep....nothing like spraying fuel only going down the track.

100 shot is 4lbs/min or eight 15 second runs and 2lbs left in the bottle. The pressure will decrease as the bottle is emptied that's why you use a heater, to bring it back up and keep a consistant 850-900psi.

After you spray a few bottles you can tell when it doesnt hit right and is getting low that is my point. Do you all honestly pull the bottle before you hit it everytime and weigh and say oh I have 5 pounds left. NO. When the **** doesnt hit as hard anymore get it filled plain and simple. If you are going to the track get it filled so you have a full bottle. When you have a heater and cant get the bottle pressure up to 800 its empty no need for a scale I have never needed one and been just fine as soon as I felt it getting weak I turned it off that simple.

On my set-up using 95* stats, when bottle will no longer heat past about 800psi, then I know I have about 3lbs left. So I really don't need to weigh bottle to know where I am at. however, a pressure transducer will heat whatever amount to your selected pressure and the only way to know where your at weight wise is to weigh bottle. One of the reasons I like thermastatic controlled heaters.
