Wet or Dry kit
#1
alright here's the deal. i traded a friend of mine a performance carb. for a N2O kit. all i need to hook it up is a switch, button, and purge kit. oh yea and a carb plate since it came off a fuel injected car. ANYWAYZ..... i wanting to know how can i tell if the kit is a wet kit or a dry kit. all i have to go on is that it's made by coldfusion and that it came off of a nissan 240sx.
can anyone give me any help w/ tryin to figure this out?

A wet kit for a carb will have 2 noids one fuel one n2o. You can get a plate for your intake at the speedshop here in jackson. If you are going to spray the carb do not go over 50 with a dry kit. Your carb cannot make up that much fuel to keep it from running lean. Also go to a colder plug and take out some timing. I would go a max of 28 degrees to be safe.

yea what he said.......
but yea a dry kit will only have one N20 Solenoid, and a bottle feed line, and a single inlet nozzle
A wet kit comes with N20 Noid, bottle feed line, Fuel Noid, Fuel feed line, and a Dual Inlet nozzle..
Dont know if thats explained right... but hope you get the idea..
If it comes with 2 Noids... its goin to be a wet shot.

You will have to get with the mfg of the kit to find out what is recomended. You can buy jets for fuel and n2o here in jxn. If it is a stocker go no more than 150 I would not go mare than 100.
