Default Unable To Get Nitrous Bottle Refill

So I just bought a Zex wet kit for my 08 sierra, only problem is that the closest fill station 49 miles away, so instead i built a bottle stand, got extra tubing and a gauge, a 50lb master bottle, have a scale to weigh the bottle.

One problem, from what ive read to fill tanks without a pump i am going to have to freeze the bottle to reduce pressures to be able to top off the bottle after i have reached same pressure as master tank, not a big deal, so then i have a bottle with 10lbs of nitrous at about 600 psi, and have no bottle heater yet.

So what is the best way to heat the bottle to build pressures to spec?!?!

Always a good idea to chill or freeze your bottle before you fill it, use a bottle warmer with an auto shut off that runs off the bottle pressure gauge.

^^I agree..to save some dough I would try an electric blanket around the fill bottle, possibly assisted by a used nano system..you could even put the nano on the fill tank?? and then switch it back over to your 10 lb tank..sounds like alot of work...

quickest, safest way to warm a bottle without a heater is to put it in a sink of warm water.

You need to ask for Nytrous. It N2O with about 2-300 PPM of sulfur dioxide added to it to make it poisonous. That's whats legal for the average Joe to buy in mother bottles.

It will work but is a VERY bad idea. Can cause the bottle to eventualy explode by making weak spots in it. It is not a good idea at all and should never be done.

Yeah I am ordering a bottle heater tomorrow, I work at a GM shop and had no problem getting the master bottle from our local gas supplier, no questions asked. It took me four times to fill the bottle with freeze/fill/freeze method, the first time I filled it we used an old hair drier with the box the bottle was shipped in. worked ok that time but heater is defenetly needed

thanks guys
