Spraying while saving trans
#11
Nitrous Outlet and Harris Speed Works both have wide open throttle/window switches. Not spraying out of the hole and using the controller to shut the nitrous off 2-300 RPM before the shift and a progressive controller will help as well. A built transmission would be the best way keep it together.

if you are trying to be nice to the trans i would definitely run a window switch

Thanx I appreciate it. I ran one of your kits years ago on my stock mustang and shaved a second and a half off on street tires, was very happy with the kit.

Yea it would be nice if i had a 4l80 core roll through the shop but i won't hold my breath. Think i replaced one in 7 years but i guess that says alot about the unit as well.

dude, trying to keep a stock 60e together on spray is like saying im not pulling out but you better not get pregnant!
if you build the 60 it could be just fine as i sprayed through shifts and out of the hole on mine. a stock one is NOT going to hold up though. not even without spraying through shifts. im not saying i wouldnt try it, just be ready lol

Run the wot swith through a momentary switch you hold in you hand. That way if you lift off the throttle or let go of the button, it stops spraying. Practice with a small shot. Launch, roll 10 to 15 feet, spray, never lift, let off the button right before the shift, get back on the button after the shift. It also gives you the option to control spinning with the button instead of lifting off throttle. Cheap, fun, and fairly safe :-)
With a knock off vette servo costing 15 bucks, NOBODY should run a stock 60E !
