i know its not apples to apples.. but i had a 60mm rear mount turbo and the 50 shot on 6psi added 64hp and 90ftlb torque at the wheels at 10.8 AFR. bone stock LQ4.
Alot of good info there. Thanks.

I' m running a 50hp shot ontop of 16lbs (turbo though). Good fuel and methanol go along ways in my combo. Just baby step it and have fun.

I would pull about 6* out of your boost side of the spark table to start out with on the 50 shot. That way you know its safe and can add it back slowly.. Once you know thats safe you can do another tune for 75 shot and 100 shot, pull about 5* back every time and work it back in.

Or you could do a standalong and run Meth or E85, or Race gas.

It seems like from you guys advice that the standalone fuel system would be the safest route, especially since we have only 91 octane pump gas in Colorado. With the standalone system I could fill it with race fuel when I get the N20 refilled.

Now your thinking!!
If you could figure out the right fuel, you could just about spray on your current tune.. but back the timing down and work it back in slowly and you will figure it out.

Yeah, I'll be tuning on the dyno first time I spray on it either way, we'll pull some timing first and see where we go from there. My tuner is really big on making power safely so I'm not worried there. Thanks for the help, I believe you have helped me make up my mind.

Im thinking of doing the same... mines a 4.8 with a radix at 12~13psi and meth. the meth isnt doing much with the IATs so hopefully a dry shot will help. All i want from this 4.8 are constant 7.9x in the 1/8!

Whoever blows their engine first, post up!

E85 would help that thing a ton, as will meth injection. Both E85 and methanol carry more o2 than gas and make more difference at altitude.
