Question Reliable nitrous system...

Hey guys. The truck pictured in the sig is what I am driving at the moment. When I bought it, the truck was BONE STOCK. With ext trim, wheels, exhaust, everything down to the tires from Detroit. It currently has around 85K miles on it and counting..... I am planning on a motor swap and all but if I WAS to retain the current motor and tranny combo, what would you with a nitrous kit for this type of situation. I make a lot of long road trips but the only hard miles have been put on by me in the last 15K or so. The previous owner was a 70 yr old man that got groceries in it and went to town on occasion... I know it was not driven hard at all.

I want to add a lot of power and still count on the truck to get me 1500 miles down the road if need be. Any help on this??

Id definately go with a wet kit. I have a Cold Fusion LS1 wet kit equipped with a WOT switch and a MSD window switch. I drive my truck from baton rouge, LA to north Oklahoma for school with no problems. Your motor will handle the nitrous very well, now your transmission is where you may take a chance. Ive seen people go forever on stock trannys and ive also seen them blow them with little miles on them. Good luck, and you will be hooked on the juice!

I've read and heard great things about NX EFI wet kit for GM. So that is the kit I bought, it is not installed and the bottle has yet to be filled. Too damn busy to finish the install. I also know a guy from another forum who has an SS like me and he's running the cold fusion kit, he loves it and runs a 13.2 1/4 mi. I'd only use either of these and you know how I am with the truck... I also have every neccessary safety accessory too (WOT switch, fuel pressure safety switch, bottle heater, nitrous+fuel gauges, TR66 NGK plugs, timing tuner w/ nitrous controller).
Just use the search option for more info, like I told you earlier this site is full of useful knowledge.

I bought a basic CFusion, dry kit... but the directions I got suck. See, I'm no good at wiring. LOL
The kit was purchased from Harris Speed Works though. I wonder if I could get some better directions?
