if you build it right the first time you dont have to worry about it. Eaton LSD/4L80E no problems thus far.

I have indeed been around, but certainly don't know it all.
Seems there is always someone wanting to bust someones ***** just because they see it differently. I guess you are one of those random guys?
If you see it differently than me that's ok with me, but I can do without the sarcasm. Heck there's enough to go around on a daily basis everywhere you go, no need to stir up more.
You've probably got a 2wd truck that runs low 11's on the same tires you run to the circle k with, and all this on a stock engine with just a 100 shot. Yeah, I've heard those stories before. Not seen any, but heard em. good luck!
No need to reply further to the thread. It's in the wrong place, and you are way outa my league-speedy.

By the way...what have you done at the track???
Your post just furthers the point I was trying to make.

Apparently you've got it all figured out and we should all bow down to you because you've built single digit cars.

Honestly, that doesn't mean jack **** to me. Anyone with a fat bank account can do that.

Why come in here and ask questions if we're all inferior to you? I'm all for helping people, I enjoy it, but I enjoy helping people who appreciate being helped rather than EXPECTING to be helped.

So you can keep with the backhanded compliments and downtalking or you can ask your questions and be prepared to get realistic answers.

I don't recall saying ANYONE was inferior to me-quite the opposite. If you took it that way, that's your problem. Just pull the attitude out of your *** and you'd be fine.
Better yet, just ignore the post, hell it's not even supposed to be in the n20 section anyway.
I'm always up for info, whether it's different than my experience or the same. You've proved you are the exception-that's great. Why you've got your undies in such a wad is a mystery to me???????????

Your truck with a tvs and 10# will run solid 12's. The tranny will not last long at that power level though. When I had a radix at 8#on my vho which is basically the same truck you have - the good traction you have with 4wd on my 20's was running 13.2 with a 2.1 60'. Slicks brought it down to the 12's. you add a couple more # of boost and you have a solid mid 12 truck. Depending on where you live and altitude......

Thx for the reply filled with usable info!!
I am assuming the trans probably won't live long, one of the perks of more hp/tq.
Street tires probably do have their place-the parts may last longer with a little give and slipping? I've got some 28 nitto drag radials that help to lower the effective gear ratio (something this truck needs desperately) but the nittos, other than their ability to also perform a little better on the road course, are not all that great at the 1320. Marginally better than the street tires, but I don't have to worry about burning up the tread on my everyday tires.
Thx for the input!

There are plenty of 4wd guys running in the 12's, 11's, and even 10's on street tires. I would suggest an 80E swap for the tranny. It is cheaper in the long run to just bite the bullet and get something you know you wont have to redo later down the road.
