Default Quick Zex Question

I am about to buy a used base zex dry kit off of a friend of mine who had it hooked up on his f150. It was basically the bottle, WOT switch and the purple solenoid box.....My question is, will i be able to hook up a window switch and purge etc too this kit later on...As far as i know now, it would switch on as soon as it is WOT and i dont want it spraying under 3k.

yep.. the purge just goes in the nitrous feed line and the window switch just goes in your wiring and hooks to a tach wire.. all it basically does is senses your RPM through the Tachometer wire and interrupts the signal going to the nitrous solenoid until it has detected a certain RPM.... thats pretty much a down and dirty... LOL... they can be put in after the fact though if you want.

thats what i was wondering, so for the rpm activation switch i could use an msd unit or whatever and just splice it in before the zex box and it would allow it to spray. I have a somewhat limited knowlege of nitrous accessories, but i have never used one with the zex box before which to me just seems like a glorified solenoid.

you can use pretty much whatever window switch you want... just do yourself a favor and get a digital one. I have the BMN racing window from Harris Speed Works... Its a very good switch... easily adjustable and very easy to wire.
