Default question on going from a 50 to 100 shot

i have a brand x nozzle wet kit on my silverado. i hooked it up yesterday and hit it with a 50 shot. pulled plugs afterwards they looked ok. the truck has a 4.8. the tune is very conservative thats in it. i did CALC.VET tuning with efi live and have the maf and ve table dialed in. i generally show between 12.7-12.9 on the wideband and WOT. i havent really messed with the timing table a whole lot its about 18 degrees at wide open. i know it can use more but id like to go to a 100 shot by friday. i pulled my plugs i have tr6's and they looked fine...my wideband on the 50 shot stayed between 11.9-12.2. anyone want to give any advice or want to look at my tune (efi live) to see what im working with and suggestions to help the 100 shot be safe? thanks.

I'll look at the tune if ya post it , but it sounds like your right on the money. MANY people just spray a 150 without doing the homework you have done and end up fine. Take the 150 pills with you. If you don't het any KR , bump it to 150 and have some fun!

you'll have to close you plug gap up to around .035 so the spray doesnt blow the spark out and get cooler plugs. I had a stock bottom end 5.3 for 10years and sprayed prolly 100 bottles thgrough it for the last 5 years i owned starting out at 50hp and finally ending up at 175hp and never had a problem. I got truck tuned for 175 shot by wheatley abd ran cooler plugs but besides keeping an eye on bottle psi and occasionally hooking my wideband to it to check afr thats about all I did and it worked great

You'll be fine. Not saying it's hard to **** **** up with a 100 shot, but if your tune is anywhere close you'll be good. My 100 shot tune runs 24 degrees of timing. That was on 91 octane with TR6 plugs. So you're way safe as far as timing goes.

put a new plug in and do a 1/8 blast on the street and check your timing mark. you can probably throw more timing at it on the 100 shot...
