I tried searching and couldn't find anything.
Lets say I wanted to run 100 unleaded octane. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this will allow be to run more timing w/o knock on nitrous, right? Is that all a higher octane allows me to do? So, this also means I could run more timing n/a on 100 octane? I have tr6's so would it be a benefit to do it n/a?
higher octane=more timing=more pwer on or off nitrous, correct?
Is the gain in performance with right tune worth throwing 100 octane (final octane is 100, NOT 93+100) in there for a few runs?
So if I'm thinking right I might be able to have my truck tuned for n/a and when I spray at track (no more than 125rwhp shot, for now
)put 100 octane (100 final) in there and be alright? any input is appreciated. Thanks!
