What I mean is N.O.S. is a brand name (Nitrous Oxide Systems).
Nitrous Oxide is N2O (the gas)
I used to get the question "you got nos on that thing" all the time. My reply was "No, it's a Compucar kit" all the time. It, usually, baffled the person asking the question.
Bottom line; they're not the same thing.

I need it for speed of install and take out. My old man would if he found nitrous. I bought the heater kit, HSW wet kit, and bottle bracket, so next on the list is TR6s, blow down fittings, and QUICK DISCONNECT FITTINGS. Im hoping to be able to pull the bottle very quickly just in case. If i knew i could get away with it, i would pass on the bracket.

I dont feel comfy putting a bottle under the truck. Im gonna have quick disconnect fittings on the bottle and blowdown tube. Ill take pics when im done in a month or so. I gotta wait till school starts so i dont have to worry about the old man lurking around....ill be far far away.

put the bottle on the inside of the frame rail. nothing will happen to it there. too bad you dont have the stepside with the fender well lining. then you could put it between the bedside and frame and still be hidden. anyways, get the factory EGR plug and put the nozzle into the intake manifold right there. wire wrap will make all of the lines look like they came from the factory. 3 piece covers aughta hide all of the solenoids and nozzle perfectly.

what nitrous???

sounds like a good plan beau. i wouldn't mind having some quick disconnects. then again, i want to mount my two bottles in the bed. i'll have to figure all that out first then work on the quick disconnects.

I want to keep the bottle in the cab because i really dont wanna drop 250 for a remote bottle opener. I figure if i have clean setup that i can take in and out in less than 20 seconds ill be happy. I really dont worry about my dad seeing it in the engine compartment. I also could give two ***** if somebody else sees it in my engine bay. "yeah i got gas, what of it?"

Since the bottle bracket is adjustable, a blow down fitting would keep the bottle stationary because the tube would have to change positions with the bottle. Therefore, i am making my own blowdown tube out of flexline and using a stainless bulkhead to mount it on the floorboard so i can not defeat the purpose of that bottle bracket. Ill get some pics of my setup when i finish it. Im figuring quick disconnects for everything.
