I talked to trick about this, and I did not catch his name but he was really nice and knowlegable about his product. I told him the rundown and we seem to think its because i have it on the green TPS 1 wire, and not the falling TPS 2 purple wire. also I am going to re route it away from interferance, and run the tach signal off the green with white stripe wire off coil #4 as a better/cleaner tach signal. he said the ls2's have better response to a falling tach. other than that, I need to find a way to dial in my fpss, I think I have it set to high and it cuts off the ground to the controller before I hit WOT. maybe set on 55psi, I guessed by taking it to max and going back half way. oh well I dont have a gauge on it to get it right. i will see how it works out in the next 5 days of vaycay, if I have time.

well, I used the purple wire, and kept the white tach wire and adj my fpss about 2-3 turns out to back off the shut off pressure. the purple wire seemed to do the trick. I tryed to duplicate the problem like last time, and it did fine. when I get more time I will log it and see if there is any other problems. I think the main problem was the fpss adj cutting off the ground to the trick controller premature.
anyone have a idea on how to set it with or without a gauge? I dont see how it can be done. I am thinking about selling or trading it and just running a sensor to my scan gauge and set the led's to come on at a set psi.

YOu can set those with air pressure in the shop, but you will need a gauge. Other wise its just a guess. FPSS are fail safes if the pump is just to week. On a 55psi truck you will probably need to have it set around 45psi other wise its so close you can get into a bouncing thing of on off on off on off. Somthing else the FPSS should break the yellow wire going to your relay, or the 12volt low amp wire going to the relay... basicly either wire that controlls the relay is fine to break.
Nice talking to you the other day.

Thanks Rick, I didnt catch your name the other day. I will try to rig up something at the shop to set the fpss, if I can catch up with all the end of the week/year work we are trying to push out. I have the fpss breaking the controller ground right now, not the "controlled" ground from the box to the relay. I really think the fpss is the whole problem now. my purple wire is not a falling tps BTW, it is a 0 to 4.3v WOT on my truck too just like the green wire. next weekend, I will rewire the fpss to break the yellow control wire for the relay, so it doesnt interfere with the box. again thanks for all your help man.....
