Take your multimeter, set it for dc voltage, and apart probing wire. With an assistant pushing the gas. The signal wire is the one you are looking for. Don't hold me to it but I think there's a 12v constant going to it as well

Yea definitely don't rush and get the right one...I thought I grabbed the right one and burned my sensing switch up......so went easy way out and installed micro switch behind gas pedal and works flawlessly! Good luck with yours man...could you let me know which wire you actually grab?

I know on most GM DBW TB's the Green wire is Rising voltage and the Purple is the falling voltage and with most controller you could hook to either without a problem. It might be different for the trucks but just in case it's the same im posting up...
