Default MSD Digital Window Switch Problems

Well I finally got my nitrous kit put back on and put on a new msd digital window switch..and was just wondering how to set this up..on the on rpm i put 3000 and off was 6500 and the #cylinders for 1, (so says msd) but when the motor is on it reads 0 and does not work..is this not set up right or what??

so you have the number of cylinders set to 1? NOt sure on yours but on the old vortec 350's I have it set to 8 and with the box on and the motor running it should tell you what rpm's it is at. But it could be a bad tach wire. maybe someone will chime in with more help

figured it out on tech..set the number of cylinders to 4..and my tach wire came unplugged..but i sprayed a 150 shot..and she pulled pretty good with the 6.0
