How big without blowing?

Default How big without blowing?

so basically i have a 4.8, just got a cam, will be putting a blower on shortly after, i have most bolt ons, im wondering how far down the line can i go with nitrous without blowing this little baby motor?!

its doesn't matter what motor is in your truck, its what you feel comfortable with spraying it with. most important is the tune and fuel pressure.

the bottom ends can take a beating. I sprayed 200 shot on my LS1 5.7. All i had was ARP rod bolts in the bottom end.

Tune, A/F ratio, and the trans is all you gotta worry about

i sprayed 175 shot dry on a 5.3 with 180,000 miles went threw 5 bottles could not blow the motor up. i governed it out daily and did everything right to blow it up nothing motor ran fine no knocks or anything. o and on a stock tune. im not saying do this but just letting you know what some of these motors can take.

damn bro!!! already??? well im gna be getn a new cam soon....a custom grind for the spray, so i will sell u my tr220, its been in, what, 4 weeks!!! hahaha!!! lol....
