ecsb bottle mounting

works fine for me. instructions said as long as it was faced at 45 degrees towards the front of the truck it would work fine. i havn't had a problem yet.

If you do it sideways. I'd try to put it in an angle rather than completely sideways if possible. That way the gas still moves to the back area of the bottle when you accelerate.
That's what I'd do anyway.

on the street i mostly ran my bottle in a bowling ball bag behind the passenger seat. never had a problem. ive never had a back fire or one nitrous problem in 2 years. and my truck left pretty hard.. and pulled pretty hard. i still wish i tryed the second kit at the track easy high 10 with a very loose converter.
what im getting at is if i never had a problem i highly doubt you guys will with most being a 12 or higher daily driver. along with most extended cabs... most i state. dont pull 1.5 60's where this would be the most prone time to worry about it.

We must have different brackets. I still have about an inch in a half to two inches of room. You have to remember though when you tighten the brackets to the floor it's gonna pull the brackets down at least a half inch to the floor pan. Due to the carpet and insulation.

And how is that faced 45% towards the front? It looks to be about 10% facing to the side...? If this is ok then i could put one sideways behind the seat in my regular cab

Just keep the bottle full and you won't have a problem.
The dip tube inside the bottle goes to the bottom and the back of the bottle, so the only real time it might become "uncovered" with liquid N20 is when the bottle get low on gas.
