yeah plug it with a bolt or a rubber plug. Your right if you did do the v8 swap you couldn't reuse the plate.

Wrap some electric tap over it, your making this way to hard. Buy a cold air kit and put your nozzle in it, then put the stock one back on for smog testing. Drill the hole about 4" infront of the Throttle body on the bottem of the tube, and intall the nozzle. When you have to take it to get inspected pull it out and put some tape over it till you get your sticker. The nozzle doesn't go in your intake manifold it goes in front of the TB.
