If you put TR7s in, they'll rust before they ever see a spark anyway...

I installed the 6's from the get go and my motor seems to run O.K. I have some 55's on the shelf I may install when I get around to it as I want to see if there is a noticeable difference in NA form. Haven't sprayed yet but do have it pilled for a 200 shot. I have been kicking around installing another nitrous kit with say a 75 shot and pilling the direct port down to a 100 shot for the time being. More than likely I will start with the TR-6's and only spray in 3rd gear (2 second progressive ramp after the shift) and pull the plugs to have a look-see.

Built408, Do you have any EGT numbers to share in relation to shot size? I never gave EGT too much of a thought but now you have me curious just like ZR1 Dreaming.

Also, where are you guys buying the TR-7's? My local auto parts store looked at me sideways when I said I needed them. I was suprised they didn't carry them. Looks like an internet purchase...

I have 7's in my street car and I spray a decent size shot. It is 11.5cr and runs on 100% pump gas. You will be fine with 200 on pump gas, depending on the tune.

I've always liked the idea of jetting low to high and whatching everything (plugs, tune, gauges) as the pills go up. So I agree in jetting down the DP to start... just to observe how everything is reacting. But I wouldn't spray with the 55s at all. Or were you just comparing the NA drivability?

Ok thanks blacksheep, good to know. I was a bit skeptical of jetting that high with my CR and only running pump gas.

So when your standalone is done how are you going to run the big shot? I read you want to run 175 without the standalone, but what are you going to do for the other 75? Reason is I'm thinking about running a dual stage plate conversion from N20 Outlet and I'm assuming that's what you have.

...unless I'm missing something and they rate each stage on the plate kits for a 200 shot...

Yes the 2 stage 90mm plate kit from Nitro Dave. But I want to experiment with jets and stages to see which combo nets me the best and safest results.
