Default 2500 hd

hey guys. ivebeen reading for days and have not yet found a guy whos put nitrouss on a 2500 HD. i have an 02 ecsb with 33's on it and im planning on putting a 150 wet fogger kit on it. it has a blackbear tune in it right now and i have to retune it through him before i do it to take some timing out of it and some other stuff. just wondering if anyone here has done this to a big truck and taken it to the track. what kind of numbers you think ill be running? yes, i will be running the 33's. i know people are gonna think its a waste of time cause the trucks heavy and the tires are to big, but its a toy and im going for a wow factor. thanks

ok. If u have a 2500 HD thin u have a 6.0 lq4/4l80e. Now if u think about it, all us rcsb guys are switching over to the bigger lq4 and now alot of people are swapping to 4l80e. This is currently what i have swapped to. I have sprayed 150 through mine with out a problem. 150 Is a very safe shot to go with if tuning is great and timing is pulled. Shouldn have a problem.

Once u put 150 through her u will want to up the shot lol.

i already have a tune coming from black bear for the 150 shot. i do not have a window switch so it will just be on a wot micro switch. i would love to have a 200 shot in it but that makes me nervous. i would love to see 13's with this heavy truck with just nitrous.

I think you should have a solid 13 seccond truck with a 150 shot. Not many people run the bigger trucks so we don't have much info to base it on.

My truck is a compleatly differant animal then yours. It isn't an HD but weight is only a few 100 lbs at most.

It was a regular cab, shortbed 2wd. I had a 2800 stall, BB tune, 100 shot, weight reduction and it ran a best of 13.4@1xx.

I meant to say you should have a solid 14 second truck. Just so you know 150 on a stock motor is safe. 200 shot has been done but just know you are pushing the limits.
