Default Noob in MO

Just thought I would drop in here and say hi, I have a 99 GMC Sierra RCSB, 5.3, Lincoln locker, K&N cold air and a crappy tune. Seems like the people here know their stuff and I like learning. Here are some pics.

The plans are to get some long tube headers, 4.10 gears and a good dyno tune to get me by until I can build a 6.0 with L92 heads to throw in.

Oh, and I think my trans might be getting ready to go, seems like I felt it have trouble hitting second a few times when on it hard, but then again I might just be paranoid. If it is going out, what size stall would you all recommend getting that will be fine with the stock engine and with the 6.0 later on? I'm guessing the 6.0 with L92 heads and a good cam I should be 450-500 hp and don't see the point in getting a stall now that won't be okay with that engine later. Thanks!

Nice truck...What rim & tire size combo do you have? A Yank ST3000 seems like it would work well on the mild side for you, depending on cam size

I'm running 20x10's with 285/50/20's right now but I'm thinking about getting some new wheels, the offset I have right now is keeping me from lowering the truck.
