Default a newbee, welcome everyone

Welcome everyone. I own a 2009 silverado, 5.3 liter and looking forward to do an engine swap in the coming months. Trying to decide between the L92/6.2L, 6.0L, or possibly an LS3. I joined to gain some knowledge and insight in helping to weigh all my options in deciding which engine application will best suit my needs. In the meantime, I'll continue working overtime and saving for the much anticipated project. I joined yesturday and will try posting pictures of my ride within the next week, hopefully. Happy Holidays and god bless everyone.......including our VETS.

thx. did you notice a significant improvement in low-end torque with the dynatach LT'S. I've been using pacesetter ceramic shorties for the past year, big mistake!

yea, the majority seems to be leaning towards the l92. I was fortunate that the truck is already equipped with the 6l80E, in that, gm began using them in the 5.3's in late 2009.

Well from what I read the shorties aren't much better than stock manifolds, so I went long tube right off the bat. Then about 3 or 4 weeks later I put the Radix on, so yeah it got quick fast. I did notice some improvement in bottom end with the LT's but the biggest change was the Radix. I have no complaints about the Dynatechs, they aren't cheap but I am extremely happy with them. Sent them out to Jet-Hot for coating before I installed them and they still look great. Just a little wipe down with soapy water and they shine away.
