Hey everyone I have been on LS1tech for years and finally got a truck last thanksgiving and was looking around for parts and completely forgot about this branch off of tech haha. Anyway I have an 02 Silverado 2500HD Crew cab. It is blue with gray cloth interior. Has about 75k miles but is definitly sufficient enough to tow my Trans Am when the time comes and i can afford a trailor. It is stock because all of my money goes toward my 00 Trans Am at the moment.
I think i have a leak in the exhaust of the truck so was just going to put a full exhaust setup on there. Since my trans am is pretty much just straight pipes with a cam it is quite loud so I wanted my truck exhaust to be very loud but street legal. Any suggestions on Longtubes, X-pipe and catback?? I want something decently loud and truck sounding, the X-pipe i do want cats so i dont have to worry like i do in the trans am. Also the catback i do want chrome 5" tips that point to the side diagonally (for some reason i like that look) haha. Lastly any well known truck shops here in VA, i'm in centreville near manassas???

Welcome to the truck side
I would get some Pacesetters LT headers, high flow cats, and some flowmasters super 44's. Even tho most of the guys on the site run magnaflow mufflers.
Here is a picture of my exhaust running out the side diagonally.

Thanks for the kind words. Damn that truck looks mad sexy dude. That's pretty much my finished product, some nice tires maybe a small lift, cai, and full exhaust. How much did that run you and you used an X-pipe right?? Coated pacesetter better then LPP stainless steal??? How loud is the Super 44?? I've looked into that awhile ago as well as the magnaflow muffler (the louder one i forget it's name haha)

welcome from winchester VA, not too far from you. I'm with you though, haven't found any reputable shops around the area so i can't help you out there. But I'm still looking, I'm going to need a cam installed. I've heard there is a few shops up across the PA line though, but I'd rather find a VA shop.
