New Member: Southern California, 03 Silverado
Whats up guys, I’m Francisco from the San Fernando Valley, CA. Right next to LA. Ive been driving my 03 silverado since I graduated from high school. I didn’t really invest money on it since I was going to school but now that im done with college and my transmission and rear end are pretty much done I might as well do some upgrades to my truck while rebuilding them. Some of my close friends referred me to this site and here I am.
03 Silverado 5.3 Extended Cab, Mostly stock except for an intake, shackle drop, 20” rims
I’m taking it to the shop in about two weeks and these are the upgrades that I’m making. I already have most of the parts at home. Just waiting on a few to get shipped.
Transmission rebuild with the usual upgrades
5 pinion planetary
Shift Kit
Alto Carbonite Wide band
Red Alto clutches
The Beast Sunshell
Corvette servo
Reverse Input drum
Accumulators
3200 Stall Circle D Torque Converter
Eaton Truetrac Locker
4.30 Gears
Thermostat
Upgrades to come soon:
Long Tube Headers
Electric Fans
Tune
Later:
22’ or 20” OEM looking Silverado SS rims (will have separate rims/tires for the track)

That's one hot looking truck. Let's hope u can upgrade ut to keep up with the other gm trucks in the valley..Haha. and stop debating het those lt headers and cam also.
