hey everyone, i'm jonathan from south mississippi. i drive a 99 sierra ext cab. with a 4.8 (for now) its mostly stock except for some long tubes and a set of weld racing wheels
i have a 5.3 sitting at home i plan on slapping a mild cam in and throwing in the truck for a little while and running a little spray on it, but the tranny has 197k on it so its really going to be a timebomb at that point.. but i plan on taking the 4.8 block and if i understand correctly, i'll just have to get it bored so i can run ls1 internals in it.. then probably put it under a little boost.. but i'm still trying to decide if i want to go with a built 60e or spring for an 80.
anyway here's a few pics.. sorry for shotty quality and the dirty truck
first day i had it.. changing out the sending unit
lowering shackles installed
lm7 longblock getting tore down to inspect

lol, i live in the next town over.. gautier, but ive lived in os for about 4 years so i'm usaully over there more than i'm home.. just read your thread and it looks like you got a pretty good setup, i'll be home next week so i may see you around..
